Rich People Are Committed To Being Rich

Wealth File #3:

Rich people are committed to being rich.
Poor people want to be rich.

Most people give the universe mixed messages about what they want.  You will attract to you what you want, but if you don’t know what that is, neither will the universe.  You may think things like, “I want to be rich” but then think “Rich people are greedy.”  Or you may think “Being rich would be so much fun” but then think “Being rich means I’d have to work all the time, where’s the fun in that.”  Other thoughts that get in the way of wanting to be rich might include “But then I’d be in the highest tax bracket and give half of it to the government,”  “Then I’d have to understand investing and tax strategies and asset protection, that’s hard,”  “I’ll never know if people like me for me or for my money,” or “What if I make it and then lose it, I’ll really be a failure.”

The number one reason most people don’t get what they want is because they don’t know what they want. Rich people are totally clear that they want wealth. They are fully committed to creating wealth and unwavering in their desire.  As long as it’s legal, moral and ethical they will do whatever it takes to have wealth.

The number one reason people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want.

You always get what you want – what you subconsciously want, not what you say you want.  If you are not achieving the wealth you say you desire, there’s a good chance it’s because, first, you don’t really want it, or second, you’re not willing to do what it takes to create it.

There are three levels of wanting. “I want to be rich” is the first level.  Wanting alone doesn’t necessarily lead to having. Wealth does not come from merely wanting it. Billions of people want to be rich, relatively few are.

The second level of wanting is “I choose to be rich.” Choosing is a much stronger energy and goes with being responsible for creating your reality.  Choosing entails deciding or killing of all other alternatives.

The third level of wanting is “I commit to being rich.”  The word commit means “to devote oneself unreservedly.”  This is the warriors way holding nothing back, giving 100% of everything you’ve got to achieving wealth for as long as it takes. “I will be rich or I will die trying.”

Try saying that to yourself, “I commit to being rich.” Does it feel empowering? Or maybe daunting?

Getting rich takes focus, courage, knowledge, expertise, 100 percent of your effort, a never give-up attitude, and a rich mind-set.

Wealth Principle

If you are fully, totally and truly committed to creating wealth, you probably won’t.

Once you do commit, however, the universe will bend over backwards to help you. The universe will assist you, guide you, support you and even perform miracles for you.  But first you have to commit!  W. H. Murray wrote the following during one of the first Himalayan expeditions:

Until one is committed, there is hesitance the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.  Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splended plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too.  A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way.

Write a short paragraph on exactly why creating wealth is important to you.  Be specific.

Meet with someone who is willing to support you.  Tell that person you want to invoke the power of commitment for the purpose of creating greater success. Look that person in they eye and repeat the following statement: “I, _________(your name), do hereby commit to becoming a millionaire or more by _________(date).”

Tell your partner to say, “I believe in you.”

Then you say, “Thank you.”

If you feel a twinge of fear then you are on your way.  If it doesn’t bother you, then you’re still in the mode of not being willing to do whatever it takes, or don’t think you need to do any of this stuff.  Your way has gotten you exactly where you are right now.

I commit to being rich.

I have a millionaire mind.

Rich People Play the Money Game to Win

Wealth File #2

Rich people play the money game to win.

Poor people play the money game to not lose.

Most people’s primary concern is survival and security instead of wealth and abundance.  What is your goal?  What is your objective?  What is your true intention?

The goal of rich people is to have massive wealth and abundance – not just some money, but lots of money.  The poor usually want to have enough money to pay the bills.  The middle class goal is to have enough to be comfortable.

Wealth Principle

If your goal is to be comfortable, chances are you’ll never get rich.  But if your goal is to be rich, chances are you’ll be mighty comfortable.

If you shoot for the stars, you’ll at least hit the moon.  So shoot high.  You get what you truly intend to get.  If you want to be rich, your goal has to be rich.  Not just enough to pay the bills or even to be comfortable, to be rich!

My goal is to become a millionaire and more!

I Create My Life - A Rich Person's Belief

Wealth File #1

Rich people believe “I create my life.”
Poor people believe “Life happens to me.”

Rich people believe that they have control over their life and therefore their financial success. If you don’t believe this then you inherently believe you have little or no control over your life.  Without control of your life you have no way to affect what  happens to you.

Poor people choose to take the role of victim in their life instead of taking responsibility for what happens to them.  Their primary thought is often “poor me,” and so by the virtue of the Law of Intention they get to be poor.

Victim Clue #1: Blame

Victims often play the blame game.  The goal is to see how many people and circumstances you can point your finger at without ever looking at yourself.  It’s not such a blast for people around them because they become easy targets.  It’s always someone or something else that is to blame.  The problem is anyone or anything but them.

Victim Clue #2: Justifying

If they aren’t blaming, victims are often Justifying.  They often say something like “Money isn’t really important.”  Would your spouse or partner or friend stay around you if they weren’t important?  Neither will money!

Would you have a car if it weren’t important to you?  Would you have a pet if it weren’t important to you?  Of course not.  Neither will you have money if it’s not important to you.

Rich people understand the importance of money and the place it has in our society.

Money is extremely important in the areas in which it works and extremely unimportant in the areas in which it doesn’t.  Love may make the world go round, but it sure doesn’t pay for hospitals or homes and it sure doesn’t feed anyone.

Wealth Principle

Money is extremely important in the areas in which it works and extremely unimportant in the areas in which it doesn’t.

No rich people believe money is not important.

Victim Clue #3: Complaining

What you focus on expands.  Complaining is the absolute worst thing you can do for your health or wealth. When you are complaining, you are focusing on what’s wrong in your life, not what’s right.  Since what you focus on expands, what will you get? More of what’s wrong in your life.

The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like.”  When you are complaining you are attracting that into your life.

Wealth Principle

When you are complaining you become a living, breathing “crap magnet.”

Complainers say “Of course I complain, look how crappy my life is.”  You can explain to them, “Because you complain, your life is crappy.”  Stay away from complainers or it will get on you! Some homework:  For the next seven days, don’t complain at all.  Not just out loud, not in your head as well.

Blame, justifying and complaining are nothing more than stress reducers. If a person weren’t failing in some way, would there be any reason to blame, justify or complain?

From now on as you hear yourself blaming, justifying or complaining, cease and desist immediately.  Remind yourself that you are creating your life and that at every moment you will be attracting success or crap.  It is imperative that you choose your thoughts wisely!

Wealth Principle

There is no such thing as a really rich victim!

You can either be a victim or you can be rich.  You can’t be both. Every time you blame, justify or complain you are slitting your financial throat.  It’s time to take back your power and acknowledge that you create everything that is in your life and everything that is not in it.

I create the exact level of my financial success!

I have a millionaire mind!

Millionaire mind actions:

Every time you catch yourself blaming, justifying or complaining, slide a finger across your neck, as a reminder of what you are doing to yourself.

Do a “debrief” at the end of each day.  Write down one thing that went well and one thing that didn’t.  Then write down the answer to this question: “How did I create each of these situations.”  If others were involved, ask yourself, “What was my part in creating each of these situations?”

What is Your Money Blueprint?

Are you set for mediocrity, success or financial failure? Do you struggle or are you at ease with money? Are you set for working hard for your money or working in balance?  Are you programmed for a consistent or inconsistent income?  Are you set for a moderate income, low or high income?  Are you set for picking winning investments or picking losers?

Your money blueprint will determine your financial life — and even your personal life.  It will affect who your spouse is, business partner, etc.  You will attract people with similar settings for their money blueprint so that you can stay in your “comfort zone.”

Wealth Principle

The only way to permanently change the temperature in the room is to reset the thermostat.  In the same way, the only way to change your level of financial success “permanently” is to reset your financial thermostat.

Does money come easy for you or is it a struggle?  Do you own a business or have a job? Do you stick with one business for a long time or do you jump around a lot?

Do you want to reach your full financial potential?  Your personaly money and success blueprint will tend to stay with you for the rest of your life unless you identify and change it.

Wealth Principle

Consciousness is observing your thoughts and actions so that you can live from true choice in the present moment rather than being run by programming from the past.

By achieving consciousness, we can live from who we are today rather than who we were yesterday. Then we can respond to situations appropriately using your full range and potential of all your skills and talents, rather than reacting to events driven by the fears and insecurities of your past.

Your thoughts and beliefs are not who you are are and are not necessarily attached to you.  Nothing has meaning except the meaning you give it. If you really want to take off in your life, don’t believe a word you say — don’t believe a thought you think.

Remember thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to actions, which leads to results.  Adopt thoughts and beliefs that support you, rich thoughts.  You can chose to think and act like rich people do and create the results that rich people create.

I observe my thoughts and entertain only those that empower me.

Modeled Influences on your Money

We all learn from our parents and others when we are growing up.  We watch how our parents handled their finances and learned from their model.  Did your parents manage their money well, or did they mismanage it?  Were they spenders or savers? Did they invest or not?  Did they take risks or were they conservative?  Did money come easily or was it a struggle?  Was money a source of joy or a source of arguments?

Consider the ways of being and habits your parents had with money. Maybe it was that there was never enough.  Always some coming in but as soon as they had it it was spent – maybe even before they had it?  Investing really wasn’t an option?  Money was always a struggle and something to worry about?

How does this modeling affect your life?  Do you tend to be the same way?  Is money something always to be worried about and goes away as fast as it comes in?  You can’t really invest because there is nothing to invest and you’d lose it anyway if you did?

You have a choice.  This is what you learned, it isn’t you.  You have a choice in the present moment to be different.

What I modeled around money was their way.  I chose my way.

Thoughts -> Feelings -> Actions -> Results

Thoughts lead to Feelings
Feelings lead to Actions
Actions lead to Results

All the statements you heard about money when you were young remain in your subconscious and affect your thoughts about money and financial success.

What did you hear about money when you were young?  It might be things like: “Money is the root of all evil,” “There’s not enough money,” “We’re not rich,” “We can’t afford that,” “Rich people are bad,” or “Rich people are greedy.”

How do these statements affect your life?  Maybe they keep you from doing things that will make you rich.  Or, perhaps when you start to get money you find some way to lose it.  Maybe you overspend or just quit working at whatever is bringing the money in.  Maybe you find something else to do that won’t bring you that money.

Can you see that these thoughts represent only what you learned and not who you are?  Can you see that you have a choice in the present moment to be different?

What I heard about money is not necessarily true.  I choose to adopt new ways of thinking to support my happiness and success.

I have a millionaire mind.

Growing your Income

Your income can grow only the the extent that you do!

T. Harv Eker, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

Most people simply do not have the mindset to have a lot of money.  They think in terms of hundreds or thousands of dollars, not tens of thousands or even millions, let alone billions.

If you want to change the fruits, you must first change the roots.  If you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.

What you cannot see in the world is far more powerful than what you can see.

My inner world creates my outer world.
